Advanced Search
Search is pretty straight forward. Just type whatever job, resume, or company you're looking for in the search box, hit enter or click the button, and MedJump will return the relevant jobs, resumes, or companies that are relevant to your query.
Tips
- Search is case insensitive.
- All the words you enter will be searched unless you use special operators
- Keep it simple if you're not getting enough results (remove keywords)
- Try your search first without any filters (category or state)
Search Operators
OR
If you want to do an OR search, you can use the pipe character "|" (without the quotes).
nursing | manager
Would return only results containing the term "nursing" or "manager"
AND
If you want to do an "AND" search, just type the multiple keywords. You don't have to use the word "AND" or the symbol "&".
nursing manager chicago
Would return only results containing all three terms.
PHRASE OR KEYWORDS
If you want to search a specific phrase, surround your phrase in quotes.
"nursing manager"
Would return only results containing "nursing manager" in that specific order.
EXCLUSION
You can also exclude words, by typing a minus sign before the term you'd like to exclude, but you need to include at least one non-excluded word with the excluded term.
nursing -manager
Would return only results with nursing and not including manager.
nurse -"nursing manager"
Would exclude "nursing manager" results but would include results with nurse.
