EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a school district located about 45 minutes from Chesterfield - a suburb of Richmond VA. We are searching for a speech therapist to cover a caseload of approximately 50 kids. About 20 of these are mainstreamed kids who need only speech services. The others are kids with mild to moderate learning disabilities. Coverage includes 2 elementary schools 1 middle school and 1 high school. All are located in fairly close proximity and the caseload can be scheduled where the therapist will be in one or two schools only per day. In the past the therapists have used a pull out model but they are open to the ideas of the therapist. The other speech therapist within this school district has over 20 years experience. This is a 10 month contract position beginning August 20th 2007 and running till the early part of June 2008. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. Pediatric therapy is our specialty - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
