EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... We are searching for a direct hire (permanent) speech language pathologist to work with autistic students (ages of 3 - 21) in a school based setting. This is a full time 37.5 hours/week/12 months per year position. A typical caseload is 12 -14 students per week. The teaching philosophy is based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. Our client has 2 campuses within walking distance of one another. Therapists are usually assigned to one location. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a state of the art program that promotes collaboration and interdisciplinary coordination. Currently there are five full time and two part time therapists on staff. We strive to meet the needs of young people with autism spectrum disorders and are committed to furthering the understanding of the nature and treatment of autism spectrum disorders through research.
