EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a charter school located in Brooklyn NY. We are searching for two speech therapists to work with kids in grades K - 7. This is a 40 hour/week - 10 month position. Contract and permanent placement therapists will be considered although our client prefers to hire full time permanent placement therapists. The majority of the students requiring rehab services have been diagnosed with speech language impairments. Several have diagnoses of autism learning disabilities and other health issues. This non-profit charter school has a college preparatory curriculum that begins in kindergarten. Every student is reading at or above grade level. It is not a private school. The students are selected on a lottery basis. Speech services are provided utilizing a pull out model.
