EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a school system located about 40 minutes east of Annapolis in the Eastern Shore panhandle area of MD. We are searching for a speech language pathologist to cover a caseload of approximately 50 students with mostly articulation and language impairments. The majority of the caseload is with kids in grades PK - 5. The middle school cases can be scheduled for 1/2 day/week. The elementary and middle schools are located about 7 miles from one another. The speech therapist will schedule his/her own caseload utilizing pullout and inclusion models depending on the needs of the students. This is a great opportunity to work with other speech therapists in a team/family model. All of the therapists assist one another with assessments and screening as needed. The school provides secretarial assistance for Medical Assistance documentation. The speech team has streamlined the paperwork so only one form is used to document the delivery of service. Pay rate - $30 - $40/hour. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. CFY candidates will be considered. Pediatric therapy is our specialty - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
