EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is looking for a part time contract physical Therapist to work in a school-based setting. They need someone to work over the summer June 8 - August 8 and possibly continue throughout the next school year August 8 - June 8 2008. This position is part-time approximately 7 hours per week. The hours can vary depending on the caseload which is currently 5 mainstreamed students in the regular education classroom. There are 2 schools involved both in Dayton OH about 10 minutes apart. Our client would like an PT with general knowledge of fine/gross motor diagnosis and treatment. They use the team approach to scheduling which involves the entire special education department. Both the pullout and inclusion models are used depending on the student. Both of the schools provide flexible scheduling experienced staff and involved parents. Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. Pediatric therapy is ALL we do - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
