EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Youll work with mostly school-based pediatric clients. In addition youll see a few adults in a center-based day program. You may also have the option to do home based early intervention and to work in other settings over the summer. If you desire a certain population they try to accommodate those wishes when possible. Schedule is full time roughly 8 am to 5 pm or as needed (no weekends); there will be some flexibility based on the needs of the organization and the needs of the therapist. Some overtime may be available. This organization serves all ages; however most are pediatric school-based clients who have various diagnoses from slightly developmentally delayed to those having more involved disabilities such as cerebral palsy down syndrome etc. The remaining percentage of clients includes adults with multiple disabilities who attend a day program at the center in Jackson TN and children under 3 years of age who receive early intervention services in their homes or as out-patients at the center. Pay and Benefits: The range per hour is $26 - $37 and is based on years of experience. Overtime may be available. Assistance with relocation is available.
