EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a school system around the Murray County area. They have an opening for a physical therapist for the 2007-08 school year. Caseload is PreK - 12th grade. The school system currently has 5 elementary schools 2 middle schools 1 ninth grade campus and 1 high school. Mileage is reimbursed for traveling between schools. Population includes students with mild to profound difficulties and medically fragile students. Common diagnoses include Cerebral Palsy autism and spina bifida. Therapists will schedule his/her own caseload and typically carry a caseload of 30 students. Currently therapists have every Friday for paperwork testing meetings etc. School is currently using the pull-out model. Their schools are ready to move to an inclusion model once they increase the staff. Our Client is open to contractors or hiring someone on a permanent basis. Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. Pediatric therapy is our specialty - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
