EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Great location with a new modern Therapy Center and Gym in a northern suburb of Des Moines. Our client serves children with special health care needs from age 0-21. The majority of their clientele are school age children and they have a variety of diagnoses including MR/DD Autism CP Brain Injury etc. Some services are provided in towns north of Des Moines so you may need to drive out for home visits although most of the time you’ll be at the therapy center. This is a large organization with about 50 therapists on staff including physical occupational and speech. It’s a family friendly environment and the organization is mission driven: they partner with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life! It’s a very happy bright open environment where you can see your work making a difference every day. They are also very collaborative and team oriented with integrated care plans for each of the kids that focus on family centered and comprehensive service delivery. Work hours are 35 to 40 a week on salary (not hourly) and the benefits are excellent. There’s plenty of time for documentation as caseload is kept to a manageable level. Salary is directly related to total experience and experience with pediatrics. Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy; and a current state license (or eligible).
