EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a charter school in Los Angeles California that has an immediate part-time contract opening for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services one morning per week to four students (grades K-5). Students are in a general education program but have IEPs that qualify them for speech and language services. They have had a good experience with the previous therapist; students are well-behaved and positive about working on their communication. Students can be seen in three hours and the district is willing to pay an additional hour for the therapist to keep session notes on Welligent. School would prefer that students receive services on Thursday mornings; however they will accommodate another day if necessary. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. Hourly rate: $33 - $40/hour depending on experience and qualifications. Pediatric therapy is our specialty - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
