EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a childrens hospital in San Diego CA. They are looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist 40 hours per week. Population is children ages 2 months to 21 years with most children in the 6 months to 8 years range. 75% of children have developmental delays that may include feeding issues sensory processing problems Autism spectrum disorders; various syndromes such as Williams or Downs; 10% post rehabilitation such as head trauma post tumor resection spinal chord injury; 15% children with learning disabilities ADD ADHD and fine motor coordination problems. A sign on bonus and relocation bonus may be available on a case by case basis. Benefits offered include: health dental and vision available plus retirement investments. Employees earn 23 days of paid leave per year including holidays and 9 days of sick leave. Staff enjoys the variety of diagnoses that are on their case load. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible).
