Our Client is a hospital in St. Peteresburg Florida that has an immediate need for two (2) Respiratory Therapists - 2 full-time positions: 1 for nights and 1 for days. Delivers respiratory care services under the order of a physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital other health care providers and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment. Functions as the 'resident expert' proficient in all clinical respiratory procedures. Serves as a resource and frequently provides oversight of others. Supervises students respiratory care practitioners and respiratory therapist. REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of AMA approved program of RRT. Bachelors/Masters degree preferred. Current Florida RRT license BLS ACLS/NRP/PALS. AARC and FSRC is preferred. 3 yrs acute care experience - trauma experience A MUST. Interpersonal advanced respiratory assessment/evaluation critical thinking neo/pediatric care skills advanced emergency and adult critical care advanced airway management preceptor delegation/charge demonstrate sound clinical judgment communication teamwork windows application and customer service skills are required. SALARY: Above salary scale is a national projection so it will vary depending on location. Specific information will be provided upon preliminary screening with our client.
