Job Description

Our Medical Center provides comprehensive health services to residents in Austin and the surrounding areas. We are a part of a teaching and referral hospital that today provides a variety of exceptional clinical programs and services including multi-organ transplantation cardiology oncology and physical rehabilitation services maternity neonatology and emergency/trauma care. We are looking for a Physical Therapist to work in an Outpatient Setting. Must be graduate of an approved PT program with evidence of current TX licensure. NEW GRADUATES WELCOME!!. Licensed to perform examination treatment or instructions to detect assess prevent correct and alleviate physical disability and pain from injury disease disorders or physical deformities through the use of specific evaluation technique massage or manipulation therapeutic exercises hydrotherapy and various forms of energy. Responsibilities: Will work Hours: Mon-Fri. 8:30-4:30 and perform evaluations and develops and implements a PT Plan of Treatment in conjunction with the referring and/or treating physician patient and family. Will work care for patients that have been released from the hospital but still require physical therapy. Will also treat other outpatients such as sports injuries and other types of orthopedics. During the inpatient care will treat post-surgical patients-hips knees strokes head injuries ICU etc…Orients instructs and directs work activities of assistants and aides.
