EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS....Our Client is a progressive school system located in the NW Corner of New Mexico where there is clean air beautiful scenery and a slower pace of life. We are looking for 2 SLPs to complete the 2007-2008 School Year and beyond! The contract position would be working 7.5 hrs per day 5 days a week...with all weekends and holidays off. Caseload will allow you to work between 2-3 schools (within the same town) assisting students with common needs of an ESL population. You can schedule your own caseload utilizing both inclusion and pullout methodologies. Maximum caseload of 60 students. Location: Loads of history in this area! It is culturally rich Work here is very satisfying and rewarding. Additionally we are 30 minutes from mountains lakes desert or rivers. Large population center is about 30 minutes away with lots of shopping and attractions. Small town atmosphere far from the hustle an bustle of the BIG city. Qualifications: Masters Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable is desirable...but CFYs are highly encouraged to apply. (**SLPAs with experience in schools systems WILL be considered!) PAY RANGE: $36-$41 hour for SLPs ($30-$35 for SLPAs) Pediatric therapy is our specialty - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
