Western lifestyle and great clinical environment come together at one of Colorados finest healthcare facilities. This premier Colorado western slope hospital has an opening for a Physical Therapist (PT) to join a team working in an outpatient environment. Therapist will join a dynamic team-work culture with a team of 20 PTs PTAs and Aides working in a free-standing outpatient facility within the hospitals Life Center. The work environment is highly collaborative but autonomous and is under the direction of veteran leadership who support without micro-managing. RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluate patients based on medical educational social and psychological factors and develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the patients needs and interests. The ideal applicant will succeed in this position by: 1. Recognizing the unique expertise they bring to the department and integrate their expertise into the talent that already exists. 2. Demonstrating great communication and interaction skills with peers families and clients. 3. Being a self starter i.e. someone who recognizes they need something and initiates action. 4. Being someone who recognizes there is a big picture to healthcare and understands their role in the context of the bigger picture. 5. Being flexible listening to change and constructively offering opinions that differ. 6. Meeting productivity expectations because they understand that in order for the department and hospital to be successful we have to be financially sound. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree Current Colorado Physical Therapist License. 3 months previous experience. Orthopedic and/or sports medicine and manual background are preferred. SCHEDULE: Clinic is open M-F from 7 am to 6:30 pm and strives to allow as much flexibility as possible with clinicians setting up their schedule. Therapists may build a schedule that compliments personal needs as long as needs of patients and the department are considered.
