EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a school system in Willowbrook IL...southeast of Chicago not far from Naperville. They seek an SLP to start immediately. The qualifications include: Masters degree in speech/language pathology Appropriate and current Illinois certification (Type 10 or 03) Demonstrated skills in assessing students with speech/language needs planning instruction and delivering services to early childhood and elementary students Demonstrated skills in collaborating with teachers teacher assistants administrators and outside agency personnel Committed to parent involvement and communication Strong interpersonal and communication skills Responsible honest tactful able to maintain confidentiality and be of good character. Hourly rates range from $33-43 base on experience. This is a contract position through the end of the school year. Contract extension is always a possiblity for the 08-09 school year. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
