EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a non-public school system in the San Francisco Bay area that specializes in helping students who cannot be served in traditional public school setting. They are in need of full-time 40 hours per week Speech Language Pathologists. Both contract and direct placement will be considered. Caseloads vary but normally a therapist will have about 10 ''sessions'' per day. A combination of Individual and Group credits are provided to add to 10 sessions a day. Typical Caseload is less than public schools as many students need more than 1 session a week. This means that you see far fewer new students and can become familiar with the ones you serve. Ages are 3-22 moderate-severe disabilities and behavioral issues. Travel to 2 or 3 schools is possible with a maximum of 10 miles between schools. (mileage reimbursement is available) The therapist will schedule their own caseload. Inclusion model is normally used with pullout when needed. Salary is very competitive. CFY available. This is a year-round program with 7 weeks of school closing days.
