EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a school system in San Gabriel California (in the LA area not far from Pasadena). They have a part-time contract opening for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the balance of the 2007-2008 School Year through June 19 2008 (may also need someone for summer school which is June 22 - July 24 2008). This position is for 7 hours/day 4 days/week (28 hours) with a shared caseload to include K-12 mild to moderate. Several schools are involved with each no more than 3 and 1/2 miles from each other. Experience working with learning disabled students is a plus. District utilizes both pullout and inclusion models. Only one other Occupational Therapist is employed. This could become a permanent position if desired. Qualifications: Must have an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current state license (or eligible). Hourly Rate: $27 - $34/hour depending on qualifications and experience. Pediatric therapy is our specialty - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
