EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a school system about 15 miles Southeast of Palm Springs California. They have an immediate full-time opening for a contract Speech Language Pathologist. The initial contract will go through the end of the school year and might extend to SY 08/09 if you desire. Caseload will be no more than 55 students PreK - High School ages and include both severe and non-severe children. Therapist will be scheduling his/her own caseload and both the pull-out and inclusion models are utilized. District has 15 other therapists working. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible). Hourly rate: $37 - $48/hour depending on experience and qualifications. Pediatric therapy is our specialty - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
