EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a school system in Bakersfield California that has multiple needs (part-time or full-time) for either an OT or COTA to finish out the school year and maybe returning for 08/09. The district is Pre-K through 12th grade and caseloads can be separated if desired. Bakersfield is approximately two hours from Los Angeles and surrounded by mountains on three sides. The district is open to hiring either a contractor or permanent employee. Qualifications: Must have at least an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current state license (or eligible). Pay Range/Salary: If contracting the hourly rate will range from $27-$37/hr for COTA and $37 - $47/hour for an OTR/L depending on experience. If permanent hire salary follows the district pay scale based on experience.
