EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a public school system about 20 miles East of Tacoma with an opening for a Physical Therapist. Youll have a 37.5 hour work week and a caseload of approximately 25 students pre-K through 12th grade. All your schools will be close within a 6 mile radius. The kids have a typical variety of needs and both pullout and inclusion models are in use. Start as soon as possible and work through the end of SY 07/08. If desired you may be able to return for the 08/09 school year or convert to a school employee. Why work here? Rainier -- but youre still close to Seattle Tacoma and Olympia for weekend shopping dining sports etc. Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. Some exposure to a school setting is required along with knowledge of IEPs. New graduates with school based internship or other related experience may apply.
