Our client is a hospital system seeking a Physical Therapist to be Rehabilitation Services Director. The Director is responsible for daily operations budgeting capital education and staffing of PT/OT/SLP with 16 reports and planned staff growth. You will manage multiple service lines and the growth and expansion of service lines including outpatient rehabilitation inpatient rehabilitation home health care skilled nursing care satellite clinic geropsych pediatrics and schools. This is a small town hospital with multiple service lines and everyone’s job has more variety than in a large hospital. They’re looking for a PT to be the Rehab Director because they want him/her to work the inpatient side too doing rounds and carrying some caseload. They do have a Staff PT working inpatient. Administrative and managerial responsibilities will take 60-70% of your time. In addition to making efficient use of the Director’s clinical skills this will get the Director into daily interaction with the doctors and other medical staff in the hospital on a clinical level – and that is seen as very desirable. The salary range is $75 000 to $85 000 plus bonus. An excellent relocation and benefits package is provided. Youll enjoy a low cost of living in this community but still be close enough to visit Denver on the weekends or take weekend ski trips in the mountains about 2 hours away. Qualifications: Must hold at least a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy. 7+ years experience required. Previous experience managing multiple lines of service or multiple disciplines is required. Some pediatric experience is strongly desired.
