EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client is a school system in the Los Angeles California area that has a summer need for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Summer school runs from June 16th through July 18th 5 days a week 8 hours per day. This contract has the potential to roll over into the fall. There are currently 3 occupational therapists on staff. Hourly pay rate ranges from $25 and up depending upon experience level. In summer school they tend to put kids into fewer locations so the distance/schools involved and student population would depend on the caseload. The needs of the students range from fine motor skills to sensory integration. Qualifications: Must have at minimum an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. Pediatric therapy is our specialty - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
