EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our Client is an elementary school system in the Stockton/Modesto California area in need of Speech Language Pathologists. Their need is immediate and through the end of the school year; there may be some short term need for summer with the opportunity to return for 2008/2009 school year. You would work with ages 3 - 13 and manage a caseload of approximately 65 students between 3 schools which are all within 10 miles of each other; travel is reimbursed. The hours would be 7.5 per day 3 - 5 days per week. These are very supportive schools with good working conditions great administrative support and a strong team of therapists who work well together. They are a professional staff which strives to use best practices and the latest innovations. People love this community and this is a position that was vacated due to an unforeseen early retirement. The school system uses a web based system for IEPs and there is clerical assistance for scheduling. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. Pediatric therapy is our specialty - and our expertise is backed by excellent hourly rates and per diem offered based upon IRS eligibility.
