Job Description
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and documentation.
Assist with direction of patient care activities, quality improvement and clinical education.
Plan, implant and delegate specific treatment programs for individual customers or residents according to principles and standards of practice of Physical Therapy.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
Demonstrate competence in all procedures within the scope of practice for Physical Therapy as appropriate for the ages of the customers served.
Demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in the following age groups: pediatric, young adult, adult and geriatric.
Supervise PT assistant and rehab aides, secretary, patient business specialist.
Job Requirements
Background Required:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
Master's Degree in PT preferred.
Current Florida licence and/or eligible and CPR certified.
1-2 years clinical experience preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, sound clinical judgement, leadership skills, computer and customer service skills are required.
