In dire emergencies where specialized treatment is required, patients are transferred to University of Massachusetts Medical Center. NES Healthcare Group is currenlty full-time and part-time Emergency Medicine Physicians and Physician Extenders. Shifts available are: single coverage 12-hour shifts 7:30a-7:30p and 7:30p-7:30a for physicians.
Physician Extender hours are: single coverage/10-hour shifts 12p-10p in the Main ED; single coverage 12-hour shifts 10a-10p in Prompt Care.
The Emergency Department Physicians at Day Kimball Hospital are affiliated with NES Healthcare Group. NES offers competitive hourly rates, incentive bonuses,comprehensive malpractice insurance, and flexible scheduling.
*Board Certification or be Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
* 1 year full-time (10-12 shifts per month) ED experience
* ACLS certification; PALS and ATLS preferred
* Must be residency trained in a Primary Care Specialty
Physician Extenders will have:
* A current Connecticut Physician Assistant or Nursing License
*A Connecticut addressed CS Certificate
* ACLS certification; ATLS preferred.
* 1 year full-time ED experience as outlined for physicians
