Trauma and neurological patients are transferred to other hospitals.
LKMC Facts:
-18,000 annual volume
-12 hour physician shifts (7:00 am to 7:00 pm/7:00 pm to 7:00 am) with 10 hours double coverage by MLP, and hospitalist to admit
-Physician Extenders (PA/NP) also on staff

Requirements:
-Board Certified in a Primary Care Specialty/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
for full time/part time positions
-Must have a Florida medical license, ACLS/ATLS, 2-3 years current ED experience
