The Board affirms that the protection of the public health, safety and welfare is the utmost responsibility. The Board and its staff will approach its responsibility so that the public and the professions can be assured of a balanced and sensible approach to regulation performed aggressively, but fairly, with the benefit to the citizens of this State being the primary concern.
