Managed staff of 85 and operations for 8 separate mental health clinics that provided individual and family therapy services for adults in Lexington County and portions of Saluda County. Oversaw staff of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical therapists, administrative personnel, receptionists, and IT division. Planned, coordinated, and facilitated day treatment programs, geriatric services, and offerings for patients with Alzheimer or Dementia. Administered annual budget of $8.5M. Applied corporate policies and procedures, conducted staff performance reviews, and ensured compliance with CARF and JHACO standards. Adhered to all Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance requirements for each facility.
ï Assumed role at a time when State of South Carolina was challenged by budget reduction phase. Established and implemented plan that consolidated 8 clinics into 6 and reduced budget issues. Met all time and cost constraints of project with no loss of staff or personnel reductions.
ï Reduced liability of staff and patients through consolidation of 3 day treatment sites onto 1 campus, centralized physician services, and met all Medicaid, Medicare, and accreditation specifications.
ï Expanded Alzheimer and Dementia Program from grant funded to self sufficient.
ï Spearheaded first time CARF and JCAHO accreditations for each of our 8 sites.
ï Conducted research, processed paperwork, and secured 4 grants that funded Alzheimer Day Treatment Center and Childrenís Day Treatment Programs in the county.
