Manage staff and operations for this congregation. Create, apply, and administer plans, programs, and ministerial offerings that support steady membership growth while meeting budget constraints. Serve and meet the spiritual, emotional, psychological and social needs of church members and numerous other referrals in need of counsel. Respond to difficult and complex situations and tasks, ranging from members personal problems to daily operations management. ï Assumed pastoral position at a time when congregation struggled from lack of membership and budgeting problems. Rapidly grew congregation from 40 to 250+ members, worship services from 2 to 4 weekly, and educational programs from 3 to 12 classes.
ï Recognized at church association meetings as leader in new church memberships for 13 consecutive years.
ï Established building fund program and dramatically reduced debt in 4 years for a 15-year program.
ï Oversaw new educational building construction and renovation of current worship center. Met all project goals, budgets, and timelines

LEXINGTON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH  LEXINGTON, SC (9/1994 ñ 3/2005)
ADULT SERVICES DIRECTOR (5/2002 ñ 3/2005)
Managed staff of 85 and operations for 8 separate mental health clinics that provided individual and family therapy services for adults in Lexington County and portions of Saluda County. Oversaw staff of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical therapists, administrative personnel, receptionists, and IT division. Planned, coordinated, and facilitated day treatment programs, geriatric services, and offerings for patients with Alzheimer or Dementia. Administered annual budget of $8.5M. Applied corporate policies and procedures, conducted staff performance reviews, and ensured compliance with CARF and JHACO standards. Adhered to all Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance requirements for each facility.
ï Assumed role at a time when State of South Carolina was challenged by budget reduction phase. Established and implemented plan that consolidated 8 clinics into 6 and reduced budget issues. Met all time and cost constraints of project with no loss of staff or personnel reductions.
ï Reduced liability of staff and patients through consolidation of 3 day treatment sites onto 1 campus, centralized physician services, and met all Medicaid, Medicare, and accreditation specifications.
ï Expanded Alzheimer and Dementia Program from grant funded to self sufficient.
ï Spearheaded first time CARF and JCAHO accreditations for each of our 8 sites.
ï Conducted research, processed paperwork, and secured 4 grants that funded Alzheimer Day Treatment Center and Childrenís Day Treatment Programs in the county.
ï Recognized as Employee of the Year for Lexington County through popular personnel vote.
ï Designated Examiner for the State of South Carolina that authorized facility to conduct psychiatric exams for involuntary hospitalizations during crisis or other emergency.
ï Managed startup and operation of 2 separate satellite clinics into full time production and increased staff productivity from 50% to 60%.
