2000 – 2007 Maryville College
Assistant Dean of Admissions

Returned to my alma mater to incorporate my human resourse experience in to the admissions process.
Oversaw all aspects of the Admissions process, applicant flow, and financial-aid packaging. We were able to reduce institutional expenses by over 1 million dollars each of the first four years through corporate models.

1985 – 2000 United Parcel Service
Human Resource Manager

Provided internal service to UPS with Safety, Recruiting, EEO, FMLA, ADA, Staffing, Training, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Retirments, Performance evaluations, Employee Relations, Workers Compensation, Disablility, Procedures & Policies, while communicating with other Staff members in their respective responsibilities.

1980 – 1984 Park West Hospital
Orderly (Nurses Assistant)

As Mrs. Armstrong said, "I brought a level of professionalism to the position". The description was much the same as with Blount Memorial Hospital. I worked the ER Department 50% of the time, but did help on the floors when staffing was short.

1979 – 1984 Webb School of Knoxville

Teacher of Health & Physical-Education for five years while coaching various sports.

1977 – 1980 Blount Memorial Hospital
Orderly (Nurses Assistant)

Provided support to all departments of the hospital, as paged to do so. It included, but was not limited to ER, ICU, CCU, Emotional Health, OR, PT, and any of the various wings where help was needed. Surgical prep., Catheterizing patients, Cast removal, Ambulatory acttivites, Vitals, Change IV's, Restrain patients, Clean up patients, and worked all three shifts.
