Duties & Accomplishments: Currently responsible for managing a limited sales force and calling on house accounts for the home health care side. Current duties include, but are not limited to, working with distributors and pioneering the sales of cardiac guideliners, cardiac and pulmonary assess testing, ECP units, various catheters for angioplasty, a wide line of endoscopic equipment, sleep apnea monitors, certain nuclear X-Ray, echocardiograms, alpha stem units, crash carts, ECG units, holter monitors, air mattresses, a full line of wound care dressings, disposables, various lasers, laboratory equipment with reagents, and several others. Increased overall sales in the tri-state region by a margin of 40% yearly including up to 10 sales reps maintaining or exceeding quotas presented. Services provided for infusion therapy would include, but not be limited to, TPN, EN, IV antibiotics, immunoglobulins, chemo, pain management, anti-virals for HIV, hydration therapy, a full line of respiratory and durable medical equipment. RXís provided: covered every field of medicine through our institutional pharmacy and with the combined knowledge from American Pharmaceuticals there is not a doctor in most areas of medicine that we could not discuss the detailing of PO medications. This was a very strong strength for our company as well as myself. Called on facilities such as: hospitals, nursing homes, sub acute centers, and walk-in centers. Called on PPOís, unions, self-insuredís, and insurance companies to secure preferred/secondary provider status of home healthcare services. Senior Sales Rep in the sale and detailing for new pharmaceuticals presented to the market from certain pharmaceutical companies in a co- venture type relationship. American in the east region would pioneer with the various reps from numerous pharmaceutical companies in detailing new drugs that would be introduced to the market or new indications on a current drug, for a period of 18 months. Some of the pharmaceuticals include: anti-hypertensives, antibiotics, cardiovascular drugs, rheumatological formulas, immune enhancers, etc. Called on physicians in the specialties of gastroenterology, internal medicine, oncology, endocrinology, cardiology, general practice, neurology, rheumatology, podiatry, etc. After the 18 months, the detail reps from the various companies would be working their product alone. We also did this with various implementation devices and a host of disposables and wound care products for numerous companies in the sale of many pumps and various guideliners. Companies represented would include but not be limited to Lilly, Pfizer, Wyeth, Roche, Merck, Taps, and Zeneca. Doctors called on would include every type medical specialist. In 1995, American Pharmaceuticals was acquired by American Healthcare Services. |
