- Release of Health Information/Computerized NACRs Abstracting (Mar. 2010 to Present)
• Processing hybrid records with an excellent understanding of the framework behind an electronic health records
• Be responsible for release of information concerning medical, legal, or insurance requests,
• Tracking and retrieving charts for release of health information, using medical database system i.e. Citrix Application, ADAC, Enovation, and WinRecs
• Following dictated operative notes and discharge summaries to complete release of information requests
• Possessing strong knowledge of related legislation regarding access, privacy and disclosure of patient information (PHIPA, HIPA, Public Hospitals Act, Canadian Health Acts …)
