Supervise and conduct both Biosafety Level (BSL) 2 and 3 research, development, design, and validation of GLP protocols to determine detection levels of highly infectious microorganisms of potential use in bio-warfare.
ïManage staff on daily tasks in both BSL-2 and BSL- 3 laboratories as well as technical training of new employees. Research correspondence among scientific divisions.
ïDesigned, implemented and maintain a BSL-3 select biological agent tracking system.
ïSupervised and conducted experiments that evaluated the efficacy of decontamination methods of BSL-3 microorganisms under GLP regulations.
ïExtensive knowledge in the cultivation, identification and recovery of a wide variety of bacterial microorganisms.
ïCoordinated and managed calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment company-wide, laboratory scheduling, and served on Safety Committee.
