Investigated mechanisms of neural plasticity during drug exposure in brain regions involved in drug addiction and craving. Measured neurotransmitter release through the use of in vivo microdialysis and high-performance liquid chromatography.

Managed all animal research conducted in the laboratory and worked closely with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee to ensure all procedures followed regulations and all personnel were sufficiently trained.
